Laura Elizabeth – Empowering Resilience Through Real-World Insights
Elizabeth Brits is a writer, facilitator, and founder of the Learn to Adult Foundation. With 25+ years in organizational development, team building, and brain-based wellness, she crafts accessible tools for self-awareness, mental health, and generational change—especially for underserved communities.
Her Journey
Starting as an Organizational Development consultant (University of Tswane), Elizabeth expanded into facilitating high and low ropes courses alongside a Clinical Psychologist. These experiential interventions—learning by doing—use physical challenges as metaphors for life and work, building self-efficacy, trust, and resilience through mastery experiences in a safe space.
A pivotal association with Neuro-Link in South Africa deepened her understanding of brain dynamics. Working with a play therapist, she explored how early experiences shape adult behavior, thinking, learning, and processing—unlocking potential for sustainable growth, innovation, and adaptability.
As a ghostwriter for psychologists and content creator (blogs, social media, infographics), Elizabeth spotted a gap: Many “broken” individuals couldn’t afford therapy but craved knowledge for mental health breakthroughs. After 1,000+ hours of one-on-one sessions, she developed practical self-awareness workshops—translating brain insights into simple tools for stress regulation, behavior patterns, and emotional resilience.
Learn to Adult Foundation Mission
We equip South African youth to break cycles and thrive: Restoring identity, families, and hope through mindset, skills, and community. No pity—just practical restoration for those who need it most.
